Boards and Managers: Getting the Balance Right
This session gets down to the nitty gritty of good governance, and deals with the most common questions and concerns that people in not-for-profits have about governance.
How can boards and managers constructively lead together?
Is there a clear dividing line between governance and day-to-day management, and how do we sort that out in practice?
Does that change over time?
How is it effected by the stage of the organisation's lifecycle?
This session will be led by Garth Nowland-Foreman, an experienced trainer and facilitator, and not-for-profit governance expert. Garth is a director of LEAD Centre for Not-for-Profit Governance www.lead.org.nz
