Who we are

marlborough house Volunteer Marlborough is an independent Volunteer Centre  committed to promoting volunteerism and to assisting the residents of Marlborough to find opportunities to become involved as volunteers. We work within the community to strengthen the sector by advocacy, support and training.

Our organisation  began as a satellite office of Volunteer Nelson in 2003 and in 2007 became  a registered Charitable Trust with its own Board of Trustees. In 2009, we moved our office to our current location at Marlborough House where we have access to meeting rooms and share resources with 3 other Non Profit Organisations.

Our Office hours are normally 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday but with limited staff , the office is sometimes unmanned as we attend workshops or outside meetings. If you miss us, you can always leave us a phone message or send us an email and we will get back to you.

If you wish to discuss becoming a volunteer, please call our Volunteer Services Coordinator, Nicola, to make an appointment.

To register for one of our workshops or to request more information on one of our programs call or email and we will get back to you. (note: information on our programs can be found on our site under "About Us - Services)

If you wish to become a member organisation or post a request for a new volunteer role, complete  and submit the forms found under "Seeking Volunteers" or call to speak to us.
